NOTES FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  • As a homeowner or resident of Escoba Bay it is your responsibility to know and follow the community guidelines promulgated in the covenants and by-laws. The covenants and by-laws were developed for the preservation and enhancement of the community as a whole. It is your responsibility to ensure that your daily activities in the community, construction projects, and/or use of common areas follow those guidelines. The following are examples of areas in need of improvement:

    1. Daily Activities – There are posted speed limits throughout the community… the safety of our families is first. SLOW DOWN pedestrians have the right of way.

    2. Daily Activities – Many of us enjoy having dogs as part of the family. However, we need to be responsible pet owners. If you are walking your dog… be prepared to clean up after it. If you do not like to clean “dog poop”, then keep your dog on your property. There is a county leash law, if your dogs get loose you are responsible for any damages they may cause to common areas or other properties.

    3. Construction Projects – All projects should have the prior approval from the architectural committee. Please read the covenants and follow the process.

    4. Use of Common Areas – If you are not a horse owner, do not access the stables without permission from the owners. Do not feed the horses… they have a special diet.

    5. Use of Common Areas – The pool, boat dock, playgrounds, etc are for everyone’s enjoyment. Follow posted guidelines and help with the up-keep.

    6. Please Do Not Dump your old mulch, grass clippings, tree trimmings or any other trash on neighboring empty lot or anywhere within our community- Help keep Escoba Bay neat and clean.

    7. Usage of the Clubhouse- If you as a homeowner or renter rent the clubhouse for a third party, you must be present during thier event, violations of this could keep you from using this community ammenity in the future.

Thank you and have a Great Year!

  • REMINDER: Boats and trailers parked on the lawn, street, or driveway for over 72 hours are in violation of Escoba Bay covenants. The parking of commercial vehicles is also in violation of Escoba Bay covenants. In addition, all parked vehicles should not interfere with the normal flow of vehicular traffic throughout the community.

  • All Escoba Bay residents are reminded that all plans or designs must be submitted in writing to the architectural committee for approval. The plans must show the nature, kind, shape, height, materials and location of the proposed improvement. Also the architectural committee shall have the right to enter upon any of the sites in Escoba Bay during preparation, construction, erection, or installation of any improvements to determine that such work is being performed in conformity with the approved plans and specifications.
